Today we come together and stand together. Working towards ending the systemic barriers facing all self-identifying women. Let’s face it, there’s a lot! It’s also a day we renew our commitment to challenging society and advocating for equality for all.
Reviewing our WLMP National programming and working with the reality of law students spread across Canada and engaging in virtual law schools, lawyers working virtually and Zooming business of virtual conference events, we decided to take on the challenges of 2020 on a national level.
The aim of the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program (WLMP) Amplify Allies Project is to focus on and amplify mentorship programs and programs we believe furthers the WLMP’s mission of dismantling the systemic barriers facing all self-identified women in the law. Every Wednesday, the WLMP’s social media channels will focus on promoting and amplifying the social media messages of allied mentoring programs and organizations.
