WLMP Peer Mentoring – Winter 2022 Applications
WLMP launched the first ever national level peer mentoring for women in the law in Fall 2021. The response was amazing.
We had doubters and naysayers who said a national women in law peer mentoring program for self-identifying female law students couldn’t be done, but they were wrong.
We have WLMP law student members from coast to coast engaged in mentoring.
That’s why we’re excited to start off 2022 by opening up applications for all self-identifying female law students who wish to pay if forward by mentoring another WLMP law student member or are looking for peer mentoring.

- Make sure you are a WLMP Law Student Member – Membership is free.
- Fill out the online WLMP Peer Mentoring form. Applications close on January 18th.
Remember, peer mentoring isn’t just for 1L students, if you are a 2L student wants peer mentoring on OCI prep, articling search or whatever, join the WLMP and fill out the WLMP Peer Mentoring form.

WLMP Student-Lawyer Mentoring matches WLMP lawyer members, who have agreed to act as a mentor with WLMP law student members looking for mentoring.

Lawyers Looking to Mentor – Applications Are Always Open
We have such a demand from a diverse cross section of self-identifying women in the law from a all regions of Canada. That’s why we are always looking self-identifying female lawyers from all regions with diverse backgrounds to mentor future legal leaders.
- Make sure you are a WLMP Lawyer Member – Membership is free.
- Fill out the online WLMP Legal Mentor application and we will match you with a WLMP law student looking for mentorship during one of our three intake periods: Winter, Spring and Fall.
