The Women’s Legal Mentorship Program (WLMP) community includes over 1,600 WLMP Alumni. Creating a dynamic intercultural and intergenerational alumni network. They are self-identifying women, who support the intersectional feminist mentorship and equity principles.
Our list of WLMP Alumni grows every year. In addition to WLMP Alumni meet-ups within the WLMP’s virtual community, we plan to hold in-person WLMP events across Canada.
However, Covid-19 has complicated our ability to create in-person meet-ups. We will announce both on the WLMP website and in The Spark, where and when we will start holding WLMP Alumni in-person meet-ups.
The WLMP alumni are an inclusive intergenerational and diverse network of self-identified women, non-binary and gender nonconforming (which includes 2SLGBTQI+ and BIPOC self-identified women) in the law, who have participated in the WLMP whether as Student Members or Legal Mentors.
