By joining the WLMP Partners for Change Program, you are supporting mentorship, equity, legal leadership and change through your sponsorship or donation.

Become a WLMP Partner for Change

There are several ways for individuals, law firms and organizations to support women’s legal mentoring through the WLMP’s Partner for Change program.

• Collaborate on a WLMP Leadership and Professional Development to facilitate a webinar or volunteer to be a speaker.  

• Become a Sponsor or a Donor through our Partner for Change program. Any lawyer, law firm or organization can support the WLMP by becoming a sponsor or donor. The WLMP works with our sponsors or donors and offers customized appreciation packages through the Partner for Change program.

• Register as a WLMP Legal Mentor. Any self-identifying woman lawyer, who is licensed in Canada and meets the WLMP mentorship criteria is eligible to register as a WLMP legal mentor.

• Help bring the WLMP to your local law school. The WLMP University Program through its original pilot project launched in 2011, has helped over 1,600 self-identifying women law students connect with the mentoring resources they need. It is also a powerful hands on leadership development program for self-identifying female law school students who get involved as a student leader. If you are a member of a law school’s alumni, the WLMP is happy to work with you to help bring the WLMP University Program to your local law school.

Donating with our Partner for Change program

Your donation helps keep the lights on! Any monies donated to the Women’s Legal Mentorship Program goes directly to support the WLMP programming and services. As a social enterprise, the WLMP cannot issue charitable receipts. However, we do provide donor sponsorship benefits.
